About Shirley Foster, Esq.

SFoster

Shirley was born in Washington State and has made her home in Las Vegas for the past five years. After college, she worked in Canadian airport management and in the legal department of a national Fortune 500 corporation in Phoenix. Shirley then earned her Juris Doctorate in the Pacific Northwest. During law school, she served on law review, moot court board, and as the managing articles editor for an international law journal. U.C.L.A. and the University of Texas, both tier-one law schools, have also published Ms. Foster’s scholarly legal articles. Shirley honed her legal research and analysis skills while serving as a judicial intern for Justice W. Riggs of the Oregon Supreme Court. Shirley’s fondest law school memories are studying law for a semester at Oxford University in England, and then upon her return, rowing with her school’s crew team on the Willamette River amidst the spectacular red and yellow blazing fall colors after class. She also completed law clerkships with a barristers group in London, England, which practiced international law, and with the United States Attorney’s Office in San Diego, California.

As a private civil litigator, Shirley has successfully litigated on behalf of physicians and hospitals, business owners, and construction clientele. She has also assisted many personal injury clients through the arbitration, mediation, and litigation processes. She takes pride in providing each of her clients with dedicated, individual attention and she is never too busy to return a telephone call. Shirley Foster takes pride in meeting and exceeding her client’s expectations.

Shirley enjoys golfing, hiking, snow skiing, and is a regular supporter of Las Vegas arts venues, including the Nevada Ballet, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and First Friday events. For fun, she also occasionally appears as a film “extra” or audience participant for Hollywood projects filming locally.
